this is the best painting of the GG bridge i've ever seen in any medium. :)   "impressed" would be an understatement.  keep it up, and also, how is this not in a SF gallery, huh?

I've traveled over this beautiful bridge thousands of times as a native Californian.  This is one of the best renderings I've ever seen.

Agreed.  I too have been over it thousands of times and this instantly brings me back to being in a car traveling over it.  I can even feel the little bumps and smell the salty air.  Fantastic work by the artist!

I just miss the old original lights that were a deep amber in color, enhancing the red-lead paint, but they were replaced with more functional up-to-date variety.

I agree.  Why do they have to go and mess up the ambiance of such a wonderful sight?  Probably safety or some other nonsense.  ;-)

I think those lights were just out-dated, they were changed a long time back.  Also, newer technology lamps use less energy to operate .
